A little help
Simple answers about TinyTaps, with a clear route to movement guidance when you need it.
Updated 13 October 2026 · Pre-release information
Contact your midwife or maternity unit immediately if movements are less than usual, stop, or change. Call even at night. TinyTaps support cannot assess your pregnancy and must not be used for urgent medical advice.
Read the NHS guidance (opens in a new tab)When can I download TinyTaps?
TinyTaps is being prepared for release on iPhone. Android is planned. The store badges on this website say “Coming soon” because public download links are not available yet. There is no waiting-list form or account to create.
Does the website demo record anything?
No. “Try a little tap” plays the decorative womb animation only. It does not save a movement, start a timer or create a diary. You can pause the animation; your system’s Reduce Motion preference is respected.
What does a movement total mean?
It is a count of entries you chose to record. It cannot show every movement your baby made or tell you whether your baby is well. You do not need to reach an app target. If you are concerned about an actual change in your baby’s movements, contact your maternity team directly.
Where will my diary be stored?
The app keeps records locally, with no TinyTaps cloud diary or account. Device backups and exports are separate copies that you control. Read the Privacy page for details about protected storage, backups, Apple purchases and website hosting.

Please do not send pregnancy records or urgent medical questions to this address.
For an app issue, tell us the app version, iPhone model, iOS version and the steps that caused the issue. Avoid sending identifying pregnancy information unless it is needed and you choose to share it. Screenshots can contain personal records: check them before sending.
