Terms of use
What TinyTaps is for, how to use your diary, and the choices you keep.
Updated 13 October 2026 · Pre-release information
TinyTaps helps you make a personal record of baby movements. It does not assess your baby’s health, diagnose a condition or replace advice from your maternity team.
About these terms
TinyTaps is developed by Omar Choudhry (opens in a new tab). These pre-release terms explain the intended app and website service. The app is coming soon, starting with iPhone; an Android version is planned. The website’s availability badges are not download links and no purchase is offered on this website.
Any purchase options and their terms will be shown in the app before you confirm them. The final store listing and terms will be updated before public release. Nothing on this page promises that an unreleased feature is already available.
Contact your maternity team when you are concerned
There is no single number of movements that is right for every pregnancy. Your own baby’s usual pattern matters. If movements are reduced, stop, or change from their usual pattern, contact your midwife or maternity unit immediately, including at night. Do not wait until the next day, for another entry, or for an app notification.
TinyTaps records only what you enter. A quiet chart may mean you have not recorded movements; a busy chart cannot confirm that your baby is well. Reminder timing and decorative artwork cannot determine whether medical assessment is needed. Do not use an app result to delay care or disregard professional advice.
In-app purchases
Payments for the iPhone app are handled by Apple’s in-app purchase system. This website does not sell recording access or collect card details. Access is associated with the eligible Apple purchase rather than a TinyTaps account. Use Restore purchases in the app to check eligible purchases for your Apple account.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Deleting TinyTaps does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled through Apple and are subject to its process and applicable consumer rights.

Your records and reminders
You choose which movements, visits and settings to enter and remain responsible for their accuracy. You may export your records for your own use or to share with your maternity team. Local records can be lost through deletion, device changes or failed backups; keep an export if you need a separate copy.
Notifications require permission and can be affected by quiet hours, Focus settings, operating-system rules, connectivity and device state. A missing notification is not a health signal. Widgets, Watch complications and accessibility shortcuts may need setup and supported hardware. Their availability will be described in the released app.
The baby artwork and animation are decorative. Differences in illustration size or pose are not a measurement of your baby, an ultrasound interpretation or a demonstration of what you should feel.
Use of this website and content
You may use the website and app for their intended personal purposes. Do not interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorised access or present TinyTaps information as individual medical advice. Original TinyTaps artwork, design and writing are provided as part of the service; links to other organisations do not imply their endorsement.
We aim to keep the service clear and accurate, but information and supported features may change. If material purchase terms change, the updated information will be made available before it applies. Existing statutory rights are not removed by these terms.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under applicable consumer law, liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or your right to bring a claim in a court available to you under that law. If something goes wrong with a purchase or the app, contact support or Apple as appropriate. These terms do not require you to waive statutory rights or accept an unfair cancellation charge.
